| This is a picture from the top of the OP Command Post. The soldier is looking through high-powered binoculars toward the North Korean sector of the DMZ. Notice the 2/9th Infantry Regiment crest on the his hat. It was not uncommon to see North Koreans from the OP. Our infantry company's mission was to secure the OP. During daylight hours the military intelligence folks would be on the OP taking photographs. |
